That said, I'm happy to say there's almost enough done to warrant another beta, so expect that towards the end of next week. I'm aiming to get most of the story content done before then, after which it will just be the photoshoot content and the repeatable events I want to add left to do.

The new tiers are live

this should be the last of these 'administrative' posts. There was a lot of ground to cover and I wanted to make the changes as transparent as possible, but I know this stuff gets boring after a while.

Anyway, the last important open question: How does the transition from the current tiers to the new ones work?



It's simple and painless:

The 'Boy/Girl' tier and the 'Maid' tier have just turned into 'Support Level 1' and 'Support Level 2'.

If you are currently on either of those tiers, you don't need to do anything.



The tiers 'Young Mistress' and higher will all become 'unpublished' when this post goes live.

'Unpublished' means that they are still active and give normal access to the content I publish, but it's not possible anymore for new Patrons to join them.

If you are currently on any of these tiers, you have two options:
You don't do anything -> You will stay on your current tier. You will be billed the same amount as before, the benefits will be the same as for the 'Extraordinary Support Level 2'.
You switch to one of the new tiers -> The conditions of whatever tier you pick apply, just like you would expect.


In the long run, it will make things simpler for me if everyone has moved to the new tiers. As long as there are Patrons on 'unpublished' tiers, I have to set access permissions for those tiers on every post I write. But it's not a big deal; it's just a couple of extra clicks, so there's no hurry for you to switch if you're happy where you are.

Do keep in mind however, that the benefits you'll receive will be the same as on 'Extraordinary Support Level 2'. So you might as well switch there and either recreate your current pledge by customizing it to the same amount, or adjust it however you like.



Speaking of switching/adjusting:

The paused page makes no differen
ce. It works the same as always and it's perfectly safe to edit your pledge immediately: you will not be charged, unless you edit it to a higher amount than your current pledge. If you do that, you will be billed the difference to your current pledge. Exactly as it is on a 'running' page.

For example:

You are currently a 'Young Mistress' and you want to keep pledging $10 -> Pick 'Extraordinary Support Level 2', customize the amount to $10. You will not be charged anything from that edit. The next charge is on the first of the month after I resume the page, just like normal.



That's it. A few things are still WIP, like new tier images etc, but nothing that impairs functionality. The 'Permanent Support Benefits' on Discord went live last night. Also still WIP to a degree, but within a few days, everything should be finished here and there.
