Naomi's skin, and hair shaders have been updated! You can see the difference here, Left is old, Middle is New, and Right is the unity default shader. Main improvements is ambient occlusion, hair and specular lighting for non-sun light.
Gropes and holds have been reimplemented for the first time on a basic level, unfortunately I've only configured gropes for cowgirl. Next update will have more. I this is functionality I literally just finished a day or two ago. Please forgive some issues with it though...
v0.4.9.L HOTFIX
Apparently rebalancing some stats stuff caused the weekend to play for I assume the first time in Act 3. And the evening dialogue for Act 3 was entirely disconnected. Apparently, no one ever encountered this before? Or maybe it was done recently.

Due to the nature of this issue I decided to fix it for android aswell. I also changed some texture settings to maybe reduce memory usage and make the game play on some more devices.

What's new since 0.2.7/0.2.8?
The primary focuses since the last release has been Story, Progression, and Mechanics.

Story
Before you saw the daily loop, but not in context, not in context of the story and not in context of the game as a whole. Now Our Apartment starts from the beginning when you first meet Naomi. Then you progress the story to Act 4. Act 4 is what you all have been basically playing so far. Thats when sex sim unlocks, dress up, etc. The way this unlocks will change with later updates (somethings have been moved to Act 5).

For now, when you reach Act 4 the game will continue but not progress further story wise, later updates will add Act 5, then etc, etc. and with those updates new content will come, being sex sim outfits, or other plans.

Feedback on the story is appreciated!

Do understand much of the story scenes have place holders, so sadly you won't see Naomi as much as I would like, but this will change over time. Music has also not been configured yet, so sadly it's just the one theme for now! Next update will have music changes through out scenes. XD

WARNING: I accidentally included the skip button in the build, avoid using this it's risky.

Progression
Additionally, you'll notice you and Naomi have your own stats. Right now this is used for story progression, but in the future this will affect a lot more. Affecting player performance in sex sim, Naomi may give a morning surprise, all sorts of things are possible and planned.

We'll elaborate more over time. For now some events trigger, and there's place holder events, and these will be updated with proper dialogue soon.

Additionally, you'll note "Activities" in the Evening and sometimes afternoon, these a can be used to accelerate certain aspects of progression. For example, chatting with Naomi can make her closer to you and move the story along.

Mechanics
Now while sex sim hasn't 100% returned to functionality gropes are still missing for now and will be re-added in the next update. There is new functionality. This is in the form of Buffs and Debuffs.

During sex sim, things like cumming for example will apply a temporary debuff affecting arousal rates. Things like giving Naomi praise can apply buffs to her which affect arousal or other things. Soon buffs, debuffs, likes, dislikes, position, speed, gropes, the Players and Naomis stats, if you did foreplay or not will all factor into what happens in sex sim. And soon there will be better conclusions aswell as a reward for finding certain outcomes.

You'll also find some other new functions like a fly camera (which has some issue to be fixed, new pose mode features and other stuff.

OH and SAVING! You can save the game and save outfits! FYI though game saving is only available when the activity menu is available, so basically only in the evening on most days.

These are not changes since 02.8 exactly but close.

First time releasing the story broadly! Please forgive the place holder stuff...Proper characters and cinematics will come; the placeholder data basically ensures that stuff will implement seamlessly in the future. FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED!
Some new cinematics in Act 0 and 1, but mainly a lot of place holder scene descriptions!
Initial progression systems! Activities selected in the afternoon or evening now affect character stats, these stats have some impacts currently but will have a lot more in the future. Stats dictate unlock of various content and events. Again much place holder is here.
Act 4 functional! You should be able to play from the start of the game to act 4, act 4 is what most people have been playing. This is where things like sex sim are unlocked. While what unlocks at this point will change in the future for now it's what you're familiar with.
Pose mode updates! Some new features like adjusting exposure, saturation, and other effects have been added! This is still experimental.
HDR Support! Initial HDR support has been added, it can be toggled and configured in the settings menu. Changes may require reloading the game or just waiting a bit playing the game. This is an initial implementation.
SSGI added! This can enhance the lighting in a lot of scenes, but comes at a performance cost, as such it's off at default.
Setting to unlock all outfits! This is cause progression is incomplete, recommended after reaching Act 4.
Various fixes to sex sim (still some issues tho)
Previews for new lewd activities! I've been silent about what kinds of things to expect but I decided to include previews in this build. These previews may include very little dialogue, and don't have visuals yet, and do not represent the final state at all. They also need to be unlocked. Features include foreplay & blow job training. Foreplay can be done at any time solo or right before sex sim (which will in the future add a buff). Blow job training will trigger automatically under certain conditions then be available from there, and perhaps randomly thereafter. More will be shown in due time as their concepts get more fleshed out.
Other place holder activities like Exercise, Cooking and more, these things affect stat progression.
What's not included?
This release was focused on being a return to functionality. As such the new content previewed earlier is not implemented yet. BUT that is the focus for the next release, and due to things being functional generally shouldn't take a lot of time to deliver.

After this release likely has a few bug fixes for major issues, we'll work on delivering new content.

What about other platforms like android?
After a break (I've been at trying to get this build ready for a month and a half now), I'll work on releasing this build on android and other OS's! I presume there will be multiple issues, but the build will come.

v0.2.7
This release is a small increment because not a whole lot has been added. Mostly it's UI fixes and optimizations for the android release. Of which this should be more stable than previous android releases.

WARNING THOUGH, because of the way outfit items are loaded, the game may freeze for a moment while an "Outfit Preset" loads and other items may not immediately appear when selected. There're no loading indicators yet, this will be improved in the future. Selecting outfit items too fast or rapidly rapping while an outfit loads may crash the game.

Random Outfit Toggle! You can now disable Naomi automatic swapping outfits in the settings. Want Naomi to live like a wolf girl? Now you can! While this is a QoL feature it may change a bit to avoid conflicts with story stuff in the future, but this should always be an option from now on.
UI Tool Tips! Among some other UI issues fixed, I heard this quite a bit from people, so now when you hover over some UI items, you'll get a tool tip on what the button is. It might be a bit iffy sometimes though, usually after selecting a button.
SSAO Improvements! I finally was able to figure out why the better SSAO settings didn't work and now that's added. Resulting in a much nicer effect that was seen right before changing to URP a while ago.
Many UI Improvements! The first implementation of the UI had much lacking, and a lot of things have been improved! For example, UI scale is no longer enabled at default. And some instances where the UI would not change on highlight has been improved. More work is still needed ofcourse.
Ultrawide screen is fixed! This went under the radar for a while and I have no idea how long this has been busted, but given how it was related to an Android issue probably for a long time. I can't fix these things if people don't tell me about them!
TONS OF BUG FIXES! A lot was broken last build despite the many improvements. This release seems to be very functional fixing some core issues. Thanks to everyone on the discord testing and helping me find problems! It's impossible for me to look through everything.

Alright so this build was mostly a polish build where I'm trying to better utilize all the stuff I implemented over the past months. To prove it's all what I intended. I still didn't do everything I wanted in this department cause of some mismanagement due to my limited time. So I couldn't get voice acting and some writing as soon as I could have.

Also thanks to Kaitou for some help with some tools related to facial expressions, they're working on some other stuff too to help with dev but I'll talk about that when it's done!

Now lets see if I can remember everything...

Camera composition and post processing improvements to cowgirl and modified missionary scenes, returning post processing to some older scenes. For Missionary and CowGirl you now get multiple alternating camera angles based on the position. See more of Naomi with out having to control the camera! On camera is incorrect, I just remembered... ugh...Speaking of the missionary scene...
Missionary Scene now has proper dialogue and some extra scenery! VA is pending, I was rather late in getting her the script notes T_T. The scene also has Naomi change to various facial expressions! Also there's now sounds and moaning plus some other effects!
Naomi's mouth now moves with moans and it's different per moan! This also blends with facial expressions! Also her eyes might wince with thrusts? I may have added that and forgot to actually implement it...so...FYI I've remade the build 3 times so far while typing this post. I'm...not checking this one...but it's going in my notes. If it's not there look for it next build.
Also related to audio there's now some more audio triggers to sex sim, and some incorrect sounds were fixed! Idle animations will mow have some subtle breathing that changes based on how aroused Naomi is!
Arm Socks Added! I hated to go this month without at least some kinda outfit addition. So I quickly added these and I'm quite fond of them! Their textures are based on the sock textures so you get a bunch of options! Oh side note the wolf outfit has been shuffled a bit for less jank.
Tutorial and "Coming Soon" Added! This is for new peeps. Some people expressed confusion in the past so I hope this helps a bit! Check the question mark on the main menu!
Player Name input now supported! This was implemented in the past but now there's a UI for it! It's not utilized much beyond subtitle names, but I'll be sure to include this in non-voiced dialogue. You'll find this in the settings!
Arousal now increases slower! Still not final but the pace should now feel less absurd.
Sex sim has changed some of the test dialogue to actual dialogue based on some additional conditions. It's only a few for now but I commissioned a lot more!
The Noise post process effect is now more subtle, dunno why it was tuned that high in the first place.
While the snapping for the "Gropes" is still there for now, the snap should be less extreme due to the resting poses in the background being closer to the animation positions. And if it breaks you'll get less terrifying results!
Possible issues

My primary focus this build was Dildo, Missionary, and Sex Sim I've so far ignored the other scenes but they will get attention very soon. I want to give some of them loops and stuff so they're more interesting for what they are. So if those scenes look jank for now thats why, sorry.
There are some UI errors on 4K displays, please use the UI scaler in settings to fix this for now.
Click buttons too fast may result in the game breaking, i mitigated some of these issues but more may exist.
There's an issue where I think the pull out animation won't play fast enough, I'll return to this issue soon.
There may accidentally be some awkward facial expressions, Naomi's skinning on her lip is just not right.
Overall skinning for clothing has not be updated yet, I'll be back on outfits soon.
Probably a ton of other things I forgot about or didn't consider :/
Are you getting closer to working on The Couch?
Yes but I'll have to run a poll on an issue first relating to The Couch's story. In short, The Couch's original story was effectively around the ending of Our Apartment with the whole impregnation and other bits to it. At the time I did it cause Our Apartment was a much more far off concept so I figured it would be fine.

But now I'm uncertain about that, so expect a poll on it soon.

Are you Finally in "Content Focus" for Our Apartment?
I think so, or I'm going to try to be. As I've said before at this point i feel like the bigger features and functions i need i can't do myself. There's still things i can do, but thats building on existing stuff I made.

What i really want to do now is stretch the legs of all this stuff I've made and constructed to prove all the content that can be made with it. I'm constantly looking at outfits, positions, possible dialogue for Naomi, etc., I really want to try this stuff out so there's more to see. Normally i'm terrified of doing something then having to do it all over again. But after this month i feel the system works as i need it to. It's a lot of work to get it all in there, but it's all feasible.

So if i can stop fixing everything, maybe content focus is where I am. At the very least maybe i can just work on some animations and other stuff and not look at the unity project for a little while. Then i can go back on an implementation binge instead of trying to do both.

Whats else is happening right now?
Well Marvelous Designer had a sale so i bought a year of that again, I haven't had MD since November last year, so this is good timing cause i can do some outfit stuff! I only got a month of MD9 last year and that had really good features Dx.

Also besides the VA lines for missionary I asked for a bunch of other stuff. I plan to have some dialogue not have voice acting but they will have verbal quips to enhance it a bit. I also asked for some new sex sounds and moans and such, kissing too.

I have people working on programming stuff but I don't like talking about that stuff until it's complete or at least implemented to some degree. Just know the Outfit System needs to be reworked and the "Demo" needs it's systems for the proper game.

From "Preview" to "Demo"
So far as you guys have seen build's are simply numbered by release not versions. Thats because right now the game is a mere scene viewer. There's no actual end game for it's setup, nor is it setup like a game.

Eventually that will change and we'll transition from the scene viewer to the actual game structure. From there we'll work toward a "demo", this is something I wanted sooner but I'd rather pace myself than rush it. The systems are in progress and one way or another they will be done.

I may take a break on making a big push to get the demo done, or at the very least, I'll get it done mostly with third party help so I can focus on content stuff for a while. I gotta learn to off load more :/.

Conclusion
I'm at that usual point where i feel like I'm forgetting something so i just sit here for too long. Except this time I fell asleep.

Sex Sim UI has been completely revamped to prepare for new features! And a new feature added, you can now cum outside (Yes particles and decals now implemented) and "grind" both before penetration and after. I'm not happy with the pre-penetration grind so I'll update that later. you'll also notice buttons for groping and alternate positions, the system is in place for these so it's coming soon! Might not work for cowgirl tho...
Sex Sim now has sound effects! Various sounds for pumping and voices from Naomi, they aren't lipsynced yet cause i haven't determined what method i want to use for that. Both sex sounds and moans will change depending on the speed and arousal level of Naomi! More factors will come soon too!
SexSim now triggers a different Music playlist, currently there's 3 songs (you've heard before in The Couch) that will play randomly!
Volume controls! While it's a bit iffy, volume settings are here! Currently Master does not control music volume, this will be fixed later.
Added wolf ears and wolf tail to more slots so that you can customize easier, I haven't tested this much so please avoid using them in multiple slots cause I doubt the system is prepared for that...
Optional "Face Light" added to help with lighting in some scenes.
Modified missionary scene has some animations split up a bit more into loops, so now the kissing after pull out has a loop. I plan to add proper dialogue for this scene soon!
All animations are now fixed! I've also fixed up some of the jankiness in the Three Weeks dialogue, I still have some more fixes to make tho. Poses are not all fixed tho, i'll return to those soon as I'd like to give them small animation loops rather than have them be static.
Overall UI revamp! I've completely changed the way UI is handled using a system that lets me deal with it without code. It also means I can add little UI transition animations! There's also a title screen now, it's mostly place holder. On top of this UI is now static pixel resolution meaning it's smaller on higher resolutions, there is a resolution scale slider though!
Uh...probably a bunch of stuff i'm forgetting...fixes and stuff? Aaaaaaaaa... I dunno.

I am sorry because of all the other fixes and changes i didn't have time to add the doggy style animations yet but they're up next!

Issues?

There's likely many issues in this build but thankfully a tester sunblaze helped me find some solid ones! I couldn't fix them all tho...

Several camera angles suck because the models and animations changed, i'm sorry for this, please use free camera more for now!
Clipping through clothing is still an issue, i'll be fixing this soon now that the animations are all finally fixed.
Three Weeks voice audio may not be affected by volume...
There might be some glitch with pinkydick...
Possible flickering with certain face items for the ale avatar
If you use cum outside and cum gets on Naomi, when resetting the white may vanish but the "wetness" won't keeping the shine in that area. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. So unfortunately you'll have to reload the game to properly "clean" naomi
