In addition to the Steam integration, I have been exploring new methods for creating animations. These are aimed at testing and may suffer from lighting and color shifts, but hopefully those can be corrected.
Twenty-five movies have been added to the Gallery section in the main menu. As you hover over a character, she will briefly animate before returning to her static pose. You can activate several animations at once, but as they scroll off the visible area, they will automatically end.
I have also added a Preference option under 'Experimental' to disable this feature.
A further twenty movies have been added to various parts of the game. These can also be disabled under the 'Experimental' section in Preferences.
Five movies in the Monday bar scene with Karla and Melanie.
One movie in the Wednesday fight scene with Keira.
One movie in the Wednesday home scene with Ashley.
Two movies in the Wednesday boutique scene with Melanie..
Eleven movies in the Wednesday home scene with Haylee.

The main points to test are:
Opening and existing save file and continuing the game. If you have a save file from earlier in the game, you should be able to select the same options and see the same scenes as you did previously
Providing you don't overwrite the existing file, your save file will remain unaffected.
Starting a game from new. In previous tests, issues with the engine update would be first encountered at the end of the first playable day.
Translations. Switching between and playing in another language should function normally.

It contains four scenes, and the Chinese translation is extended for the whole of day 1 (Friday).
The first scene is with Karla and Noe. This is a relatively brief scene that delves deeper into the troubles in their relationship. Noe is unhappy that Karla is withholding what he calls 'girlfriend duties.' She is holding out due to the inequality in their relationship.
This lays the groundwork for Max to steal her away from Noe by stepping up and giving her what she's missing out in their relationship.
The next part of the Karla and Noe scene involves Caprice. After Karla walks away, Noe spots Caprice and takes an interest in her.
Caprice's response to Noe is determined by several factors.
If 'Netorare' is disabled in the game settings, she'll shoot him down as not her type.
Netorare is a term used to describe a scenario where a love interest cheats on the player with another male character. This differs from Netorase, which allows the player to share a love interest with another male character.
With Netorare enabled, Caprice's response to Noe will be based on her relationship with Max. If you haven't kept up your affinity with her, she'll be more open to Noe's advances.
Following on will be the scene with Haylee, which will make up the majority of the update.
Mom will bring Haylee up to Max's room and then leave the two of you alone. Max will show Haylee some self-defense moves before the scene requirement takes effect, and Haylee will either leave or stay for a longer lesson.
For her to stay, Max needs to have a Nice Guy Persona with her, and either a High Affinity, or Medium Affinity and have kissed her in an earlier scene.
If the player isn't interested in Haylee, they can opt to not show her further moves, causing her to leave anyway.
Following Haylee's scene, there is a possible video call with another character. This call will only take place if specific prerequisites are met.
Lastly, there is a scene with Mom. This is where Mom reveals she knows about Max's panty collection. This might not come as a surprise if Catherine paid Max a visit the previous evening, as she told him his Mom knows about the panties.
The point of the scene is to plant the seed of extended functionality with the panty collection mechanic. Essentially, Mom tells Max she understands young men have certain urges, and she'll wash and return to his closet any panties that require cleaning.

A note on the alpha/beta builds. These development/experimental builds may be used to test features or content. Not all features/content in a development build will make it into the live version or may be postponed to a later live version.

To test features or content, you can open a save from the live build in an alpha/beta build. However, if the build is for a different branch than in your save file, you may not see additional content.

Taking a save from an alpha/beta build into the live build is not recommended. Although it may appear to work, the development builds may change variables for testing, which could cause unexpected results (such as breaking branching paths) in the live build.

Version 6.1 includes 6.0 (morning events) and 6.1 (afternoon events) for playable day 6, Wednesday.
This is a quirk with how the college events work, with them either in the morning or afternoon based on player selection.
Events included are:
Fashion with Mrs Anderson on the Creative course.
Marketing with Mrs White on the Business course.
Structural Engineering with Mr Carter on the Engineering course.
Philosophy with Mrs Anderson on the Humanities course.
Lunch with Dean Stuart or lunch with Keira and Natasha.
In addition, there are changes to the in-game smartphone, with it now accessible almost all the time. It also adds a new Favorite app to the smartphone, allowing you to save almost any image to a gallery. Like the computer app, the smartphone calendar app now displays the week ahead.

If you saved in V1 on a menu screen you will see additional blank menu items when you open the save in V2. This is a side effect of the menu changes to allow for disabled items (prerequisite not met options). You either need to roll back a screen or just don't select a blank item. The game uses an if/else block for menus. If you do happen to choose a blank item you'll get whatever is the else path is (usually the last option, but not always).

This is a Visual Novel with a small amount of free roam.

This is my first game, I hope you enjoy it.
I am a freelance developer and this game is currently a hobby development. If you want to support, great. Obviously, I'll be able to spend more time on it. Otherwise, I'll just enjoy doing this as a hobby.
It's currently just the first playable day. I wanted to take the time to get the features implemented and working before doing too much rendering.

All the female characters (excluding your vanilla mom) are love interests.

The game uses two mechanics to track your progress with each character.
Affinity is a percentage-based point system. It is calculated based on the points you could have earned with that character. For those LI's you're interested in you should aim for High Affinity.
Persona is your attitude to each character. Either a Bad Boy or Nice Guy. Each character has a preference for Bad Boy or Nice Guy.

The difficulty system doesn't change the content of the game, just your journey through it. In easy mode, the threshold for attaining high affinity will be lower than in harder difficulties.
A walkthrough hint system is only available in easy mode.

Certain tags are for specific LI's. If you don't like tag you can avoid that LI.
I know NTR can cause quite a stir, so I'll be as honest as I can regarding this content. This is specifically related to you witnessing a sex act between a LI and another male character.
There will be two-story threads that can involve NTR.
A specific LI will get very jealous if she sees you dating other women, or if she thinks you're not all in with her. That will cause her to sleep with another male character to make you jealous. You can either avoid this character or be careful in how you approach her.
A main story thread involves a male character (not the player) blacking women for sex. One of the solutions to ending the blackmail is to film him and blackmail him into stopping. There will be other solutions to end the blackmail besides that.
